It was an older handheld wideband - they've replaced it with the LM2. The LC1 is a smaller one built as a gauge driver.

i think thats what they were talking about but i think it is called the LC1.

EDIT: its called an LC-1. this is it:
Get your Innovate Wideband O2 Standalone Gauge Kit including the LC-2 + Blue DB Gauge at DIYAutoTune.com!

            so...
            megasquirt: $330
            LC-1: $230
            laptop: $200
            total:$760

or a LOT cheaper than an SBC forged bottom end ;D
+$500-650 (in my area) for the 5.3. Its a tough choice.... although it would be nice to not have to track down bottom end parts and then pay to get balanced.

                Re: 1320video's turbo turd fairmont

i cant find a stock z06 cam like the fairmont used so where do i get a cam for this?

i do have all the specs on a stock z06 cam though if that helps.

and does anybody know what issue of carcraft/hotrod it was in?

im so glad my car doesnt have t-tops
Be damned thankful for it, too...my black '86 SS had'em, and cowl shake at highway speeds became an issue...not to mention the T-top replacement seal kit price is BEYOND vulgar. I WILL have another 80's SS Monte Carlo, they're fun cars....just minus the extra "escape hatches".

A stock Zo6(LS6) cam? As close as your local GM dealer would be my guess....what's the P/N he needs, Mr. Goodwrench(that would be YOU Spidey)?

You can get it new from Summit for $269. Corvette forums would be good places to look also, there is always someone upgrading. Here is another one for $199 + $18 shipping

DG, did they use the cam from a c5 z06 or from a c6 z06?

IIRC the c6 z06 motor is the LS7

The LS6 was found in the C5 Z06 and the 04-05 CTS V
