Definitely fab your own crossover, or have a friend with a welder help!
Worst case, have a local fab shop do it for you. A buddy with no welder just did a turbo 5.0 stang and it cost him $150 to have the crossover fitted, AND a custom flange mated to his driver's side shorty header to mate the crossover pipe, header, all to the turbo flange. This way, you can make sure it fits in the car. Most of the "kits" require a ton of reworking.

you listed the base farmont 4cyl/stick
not the 302/auto or inline 6/auto
the farmont.. was fords base car.. like todays focus..
the monty was a loaded car, even the base one..
and it's not that much heavier than the v8/auto farmont..
it be under 200lb difference...
my non t top loaded monty is 3267 with jack and spare out of trunk
and it's a loaded car
