        when I remember, I put on my boots, which fit under the legs of my jeans.

          Thanks to warning I have never ruined a pair of socks. I think I got them at northern tool. A pair of sleeves have been my best welding purchase. I think they were less than $10

              Remi ds me of the time I did a considerable amount in one day in shorts and a T shirt . Got a pretty good sun burn .

                  ooooh yeah, grinders too. gut a big scar on the back of my hand. dumba$$ me couldn't find my welding gloves. some people are naturally dumb.

                    I don't weld, I stick metal together with electricity and leave it looking like a cat pooped a booger and somehow binds metal together. Then I wear out grinders and stones making it look less like cat poop boogers. Always wear steel toes, even my go to town shoes are steel toe Redwings, so I don't have burned socks and feets.

                      Relearning the things we qre talking about . New garage has enough amps 5o weld againg . Grinder burn and flash burn from welder . Wasn't even on that long . I thought . Click image for larger version

                            Dan bought me a complete cover the head leather welding helmet cuz I am shiny on top and we were putting 2 cars together to make 1 with lots of underneath welds up on the lift in his Ann Arbor garage. I still have the thing. It comes out yearly at Halloween. It makes the kids look twice... and saves the 2 hairs leftwhen I need it these days.
