What a cool story. Ironic that he cheated death so many times at speed and then died in an oil well accident. But...

"The crew ...was injecting air into a line containing hydrochloric acid and using a heat-related process to melt and remove paraffin from the well about 3:30 p.m. when it burst into flames."

I know less than nothing but just seeing all of those words together in a sentence, and that's what those guys were doing, that just sounds insanely dangerous from the get-go.
