Aldo Andretti dead at 80

Mario's twin brother has passed away. He had a great racing career, and was the father of the late John Andretti. Mario and his family in Nazareth, PA are now in mourning.

Nice guy . They had a machine shop here in Indy and did so work for Best Lock my employer before it was sold several times .( I still work there but its owned by Dorma Kaba now ) I saw him on the shipping / receiving dock and was wondering what Mario would be doing there . Turns out they were twins .

I saw an interview with Mario who said there is an Official Indy photo where Mario was not available and Aldo is credited as Mario.

As a fan of racing, there is so many scripted and pretentious in media, time on camera.

andrettis are not like that. I remember them for being real.

I actually pulled into one of their go kart racing places in florida, just because of the andretti name of it.
