I find myself watching less, I started watching because it has useful how-tos, but then started watching things that interest me. That said, I've found myself watching less as more content becomes available.
My 'tell' was whether or not I watched favorites within 24 hours of posting... even my all-time-favorite (Project Binky) had to wait a day because I was 'busy' doing other things.

I watch Adam Savages Tested pretty regularly, as well as weird stuff like "The Post Apocalyptic Inventor". Haven't watched much from Matthias Wandel in awhile, but he has some really cool stuff. For the most part I use YouTube to research whenever I'm working on stuff or building something. There's a lot of cruddy videos that have some great information or really cool tips and tricks. Just gotta wade through until you find what you're looking for.

Adam Savage’s Tested is a content platform and community playground for makers and curious minds. On Tested.com, the highly- engaged Tested YouTube channel, and at conventions and events, dynamic makers share ideas and inspire each other to build their obsessions. Led by Adam Savage, the Tested team explores the intersection of science, popular culture, and emerging technology, showing how we are all makers. Adam also takes viewers behind the scenes of films, TV shows, theater, and museums, shining a spotlight on the craftspeople and artists who make the magic we all enjoy. Tested is also: Norman Chan, Joey Fameli, Josh Self and Kristen Lomasney.

This is a science and technology channel mainly focused on electrical and mechanical engineering. https://www.patreon.com/TPAI https://www.subscribestar.com/TPAI

I( find myself watching more. I don't bother with favorites but the system keeps referring more and more posters based on what I've watched. Emelia and Colette are just fine eye candy.

I don't watch tv much any more. Mostly Youtube. I subscribe to a lot of channels. They ones I watch on a regular basis changes, some I fine really interesting when I first see them then they pretty much do the same thing on a different day and I stop. I watch some of the MTOD shows.

Almost the only thing I watch is youtube since getting a big smart tv a year ago . . My favorites were bad obsession motorsports ( project blinky ) and urch fab with the english car over the miata . B is for build because they are fast . I especially liked the old mustang going over the newer shelby till the gone in sity seconds widow took the whole project because he made the mistake of calling it Elinor. I really like his boat project and the LS lambo . I started watching whistling diesel because of the monster truck he built but I really don't care for the way he pointlessly destroys things just for the fun of it . I continue because he is from Indiana. I watch Emily Hartford because she is getting the most hp out of her new vette than anyone but her tuner rider side annoyed me . She's from Indiana as well originally . Right now my favorite is fab rats . They mostly modify 4x4s they have things from solid axle front swaps to stretching a wrangler into a scrambler . I found them from watching Matt's offroad recovery . They are from Utah. And I check out BSF recovery up in Wisconsin now and then .plus African animals killing each other .

More, especially after the lockdown. I try not to get too attached to Youtubers. Content providers burn out on a regular basis trying to feed the algorithm.

I get a lot of suggestions that are exactly what shows up on the first page here, it's rare that I haven't seen an episode that gets put on the feed here. I will have to edit this later because I'll miss half of my subs and there are so many truly brilliant people who provide so much quality content. I have a lot of other interests though, so in no particular order, these are the first few subs that I always enjoy seeing new content from. I would have done better in school if I had these folks for instructors.

Luckygen1001 - casting iron must have been his life before this one. I'll watch whatever he does. Myfordboy and Olfoundryman also, but I really like the Aussie.

This Old Tony is a genius goof and thank god I haven't made room for things like industrial surface grinders, mills, or bigass lathes. He may be the most clever of all of my subscriptions, certainly the driest sense of humor. Machinists frequently have an odd sense of humor that I identify with so folks like Keith Fenner and AvE get viewed as well. Macro Machines does some really neat things without a lot of tools.

Weldors like weld.com ( i like the middle guy, the original guy irritates me as does the new guy. I'm not sure why) and Jody from Welding Tips and Tricks. The Fabrication Series has a lot of good content.

Matthias Wandel is a genius goof and reason I bought a table saw and built a cyclone dust collector and made some not too terrible box joint boxes.
Marius Hornburger does a lot of similar stuff but was a high school kid when he started... he's really easy to watch.
Jay Bates, April Wilkerson, Matt Cremona, Cosmas Bauer, Izzy Swan all get views. John Heisz shows up on my feed, but he's so opinionated that I can hardly watch even if he builds some cool things.

AfroTechMods is a genius goof and reason I bought all kinds of capacitors and resistors and power supplies and junk. He doesn't post much any more but some of the videos are hysterical.
Great Scott makes understanding a lot of different principles (circuits and junk) easy for me to understand (kind of. lol.)
Ampletos is a teaching genius but not enough goof to understand you don't kill yourself although i still don't know all the details on that, I mean, he was Columbian so there's no telling what the real story was. He's one big reason I have amplifier parts all over the office and still hunt for big torroidal transformer cores (1200w size)
Schematix and JohnAudioTech have also given me a better understanding of electronics

Richard Holdener, anything Dulcich does, Lawrence Taylor,BOM - again, the sense of humor you don't find on current Oh My Gosh!! reality TV, and a level of detail that is amazing. I aspire to be a bracket building master some day.
              MicroMachines has some excellent stuff

EngelsCoachShop - This guy is pure inspiration to me, literally life changing in the sense that his work ethic is unparalleled and if I wanted to emulate anyone on youtube, this guy would be it. Wheelwright and blacksmith, he builds and rebuilds animal drawn vehicles. He has a series on building a borax wagon that I started watching it over, 1018 pound 80" tall wheels... I think the hubs were like 300 pounds of oak. He is soft spoken, doesn't clamor for attention, and flat gets every part of the wagons built.

HA! Yes, there is that. I can't remember who brought this one up, for some reason I'm thinking Ron Ward?

I look up project stuff when I have a question and they're often helpful but I don't follow anyone. Since Covid I hook up with Larkin Poe regularly - sisters and sometimes a drummer and bass player and they're absolutely excellent - sort of modern blues but they say American roots music and that fits as well as anything. They're my Covid find and can't wait to catch them live.
