I'm in the middle of trying to get the starter off the 92 vette . The cats bolt on like head pipes to the exhaust manifolds and the one on the passenger side needs to come off before the last bolt holding the starter is accessible. Where would a guy in Indy need to leave his car to get them stolen .Previously HoosierL98GTA

They have had an epidemic of that here for a year or so now. Usually from repair shops or secluded residential areas. Lots of times in smaller industrial areas where the vehicles sit out overnight. A friend is a manager at a moving company with about a half-dozen trucks that sit out & they have been losing one every couple of weeks. They caught a couple of guys about a week ago & took the load to a repair shop that had lost one the night before. One of the stolen cats fit perfectly into the opening cut into the pipe on the pickup that it was taken off of....when you got a fast car, you think you've got everything.
