The Sun is Shining at a Brisk 42 degrees,
getting the final things ready to head out in the Indy Racer Project.
My retired GM Dealership mechanic and Rusty Iron Junkie Friend is up at his cottage on our road,
has volunteered to be my "Mechanagician" and ride in the Jump Seat for this adventure !!
Planning on leaving around 9:30 as the Temp should be in the High 50's.
If any of you are heading that way, stop in for Coffee or other refreshments.

We Had A HOOT !!!
2 and a half days of racing action in mostly Pre 1972 cars, in ALL CLASSES.
Missed most of Friday's racing.....
Even got some Track TIME !!

We left about 9:00 am as planned, but the "Fire Went Out" only a Mile from my driveway.....
Trusting my Mechanacagician......."It's a Fuel Problem" over my...."Let's check for GOOD Spark",
"That Judson Brothers Mag is Known to burn Points"...........
(Remember Now, he has 35+ years as a GM Dealer Mechanic), Opening a fuel line to see if fuel pump is working,
replacing fuel filters,"You Gotta have Water or something in the gas "
even pulling the top off one of the carbs to inspect for "Pollutants" (Sediment)........

All this in Front of Every Neighbor Going to.... AND BACK ...from town on the side of the County Highway.....
finally bummed a ride back to my place to get my van and trailer, Loaded it up, unload it into my shop.
Pull the distributor cap off........Burnt Points !!!!!
That's why I carry not ONE, But TWO spares sets of points and condensers JIM.......
