We Chose this Ferry Line, as the OTHER,
is the Famed White Star Line (Remember the Titanic?)
They are having a Rough Go this season.......A catastrophic engine failure in the "Straights", took 2+ hours
for a tug to be summoned and get them ashore,,,,,,,
A Bowsains Mate didn't tie off the stern on a trip, 3 passengers fell in the water BETWEEN THE FERRY AND THE DOCK!!
Not a GOOD place to be as the Ferry comes against the dock again.....

            Just Saying......

And Bring someone who is NOT Heat Sensitive, and Not "Tight in the Wallet".......
This is a Tourist Trap along with it being a National Landmark and Park.......
Also EVERYTHING has to be Ferried to the Island......And even the Garbage is Ferried Out.....
So Yes Things Get a Little Pricey ........

The Grand Motel is a Site to See Too !

And The Island is STILL a US Coast Guard Installation !!!

This is the "Control Tower" of the "Straights" per say, with Passenger Ferries, Freight Ferries, Ocean Freighters,
and the Mighty 1,000 Footers, The Ore Boats, all coming thru the open channel

Nice trip Captain. Did you stop and wonder after the 12th fudge shop, who had the brilliant idea to start the 13th?

Dan may remember the discussions we had about that. But I doubt it...

My brother just dropped by the new Buck-ee's that opened in Daytona Beach and brought home some of the best Chocolate Salted Caramel Fudge that I've ever tasted.
