    Violinist / vocalist Robby Steinhardt of Kansas has passed away at the age of 71 from complications of acute pancreatitis.

      Dang, they're performing here in a couple of months.
      One of my favorite groups won't be the same.

          RIP Robby.
          Got to see them in person only one time, it was in an old Opera House in New Orleans in 1981. It was unbelievable, the acoustics in that building combined with Kansas was probably in the top ten if not the # 1 concert I saw. The match was ZZ Top in a place callked the Warehouse in New Orleans, maybe only 5 to 600 people. No matter where you we're you wer're no more than 75 from them another great concert. Those we're the days.
