The shifter *shouldn't* fall apart again for another few years and we've got a turkey baster to catch the gear oil that flies out of the rear end vent. That's all the reason for another go at it, I'd say. The track fees are less than half what they are at Daytona and the trip is a little over half as far. No reason not to.
