Jake picked up this 1998 Cobra in Denver last weekend. 43k miles. Stock engine and trans. SUPER clean car with a few nice upgrades. MGW shifter, 3.73's, 18" wheels, Flowmaster catback, Maximum Motorsports Road & Track Box kit (control arms, subframe connectors, springs, struts, shocks, caster camber plate, strut tower brace, steering shaft, panhard bar, bushings). He also got the stock wheels, badges and wing. I can't wait to see it in person. The color is Bight Atlantic Blue which is a 98 only color and is fairly rare for a Cobra (563 cars).

Very nice, the best idea is to put gas in it and miles on it. Plan B should be BOOST!

He said he is going to pretty much leave it alone for now. He said an On3 kit might be a future upgrade, but that won't be anytime soon. I was surprised that those cars have a T45 and not something beefier.Life is short. Be a do'er and not a shoulda done'er.

If he really wants to wake it up, swap that dif gear for a 4.10, it was one of the most common swaps we did back when they were newish. Do the clutch pack trick if it wasn’t done already as well. 3.73’s we’re good, never had a single unhappy customer with the 4.10 though.
that’s a hell of a find!Last edited by tedly; September 30, 2021, 05:56 PM.I'm probably wrong
