    in other news
Corvette and lawn mower made it safe.... spent a solid 4 hours mowing and it still looks like garbage... ah well

also told the minions at SCCA that I was tired of people telling me I'd cut the grass with that old car so I'm bring my lawn mower next time so that they won't be liars.

crane is handy... but I'm not sure Uhaul is telling the truth about how easy it is to move with their stuff

    obligatory Land Cruiser shot

In other fun news, there is no internet connection at this house.... it's either Hughes net or Starlink. I bought Starlink, it's not working yet.... so updates may get spotty....

But where's it's wing? More down force will keep the blades cutting better...

fun fact, lawn mower blades have upturns on them to pull the grass up and blow the grass out..... in short, it's hidden aero.... I'll show myself out

                                Small town America.

So the first day I'm moving the stuff in - by myself and directing Uhaul - recommended movers (who are really, really late). Neighbor comes by (the one with the Studebaker gas truck), introduces himself and says "hey, I have a forklift that you can borrow anytime to move"....

and it gets better, today we're talking and he again offers the forklift, this time I say "Yes please" .... next week the lathe, the press brake, the shear and the car lift are going to be here.... and now I know how I'm going to get it unloaded.

This same neighbor has a tour bus, a snap-type truck (box with lift gate) - yep, this is me winning the lottery. He also helped move two bookshelves upstairs.
