  • Jonesing / AADD

I am jonesing again for another car. I really don't understand why I get Automotive ADD. It's been less than a year that I bought the Lighting. I have been scanning market place and copart looking for the next one.

I really don't have time or space for another project, but I don't see that stopping me

My Google has been weak lately. Does anyone have a 90's F150 they can measure the outside width of the tires? The Lighting would not fit but it had wide tires and wheel spacers. I am looking at a '92 with stock 15" bullet holes. My trailer is more "car" than "truck" but I would like to know if it will fit better I drive 2.5 hours.

while I appreciate the verbal gymnastics you employed to avoid the word, it was implied and assumed. Sorry.

No worries, I have kids, eight and five years old. So we often talk about the differences between wants and needs. Another old Ford is definitely a want.
I do feel like a junkie looking for my next fix.

Not so sure there is such a thing as recovery. Change sure.

I think trailer is not wide enough for a truck it's only 76" between the fenders. I saw an ad for a wrecked 95 mustang Cobra. I think I have talked myself into thinking it's a good deal. It's close to the office so I will go check it out tomorrow.

my best efforts would be on cleaning the shop or working on the mustang I already have.

making more rust stuff from the stuff you already have is a clever work around - after all, you didn't have to drag a firewall home, you just put it in the bed of your truck...

It is a good counter point that you're buying multiple Fords so that you are more likely to have something to drive... finally, I understand people who buy Fords

Exactly, it's cheaper to have two old Fords than one new Chevy

Called about the mustang, they are taking "bids" top bid is more than I want to pay. Should have left them a low ball #. I think I will drive by on Monday and see if it's still there.
It was hit hard core support is probably a foot out. Rack is broken. It would make a good parts car, but I am not interested at that price.

LKQ just sent me an email. They just got an Escalade maybe I could go get a 6.0 to play with.

Ford powered by an LS is something I fully support.

Never say never, I would like to build a run stand and practice tuning with some of the free software that has been released. Or I read on the internet that you can pull a 6.0 at the u-pull-it and double or triple your money in a day?

not my experience, but if it's on the internet... it must be true

ID:	1318463 Went to the LKQ. Their cross reference system is terrible. I asked for 6.0 they they said they had 5. Two had been pulled. One was a 4.3 the other two were LM7s.

Not to waste a trip I decided to pull a T5. (You can never have too many.). LKQ has embraced this round of inflation. Parts have gone up! It was $263 out the door for a standard transmission. Just for the fun on it I picked up the computer out of the 2003 Cadillac with the 6.0. There is a software that you can use to tune these computers. I am going to make a bench harness and see if it works (someday)

If you notice the two pieces of exhaust pipe in the back they are to connect the turbo to the cat back. I pretty sure I paid full retail for a practice bend and the end of a tube.
