Day One.....
perfect morning, started with Breakfast at the Red Shorts Cafe




The weather forecaster was right on time saying the rains would show up at noon.......
But the morning was good, taking in the Paddocks.

Our Favorite Spot is the "Hurry Downs" turns 5 & 6 lead into This straight away with downgrade to a hard left ....







Tomorrow is the First Car Show for this Event Weekend at Road America..... hopefully the Rain Keeps Up......
AND DOESN'T COME DOWN !!

The weather stayed south of here, YEAH !!
Clouded over late morning, but temps were great.
A smaller turn out of a mix of cars. With May 1st landing on a Sunday, all the weekends in May are messed up this year,
So Other Big Shows we're also on this weekend. Like Automotion in Wisconsin Dells.......

Well,
most of my pix are NOT transferring over, EVEN after cropping down.......

Since this was the First Car Show for this Event Weekend,
I bought that "Hurry Downs" sign at the souvenir shop, and had all the entry owners sign it. It will be on my shop office wall with the other collectables.



And we Trophied in the Rat Rod Builder's Class.



And Optima Racing was here !!

Well,
Ran out of time to mess with getting pix to transfer over,
I have to put my "Shine On" !!
Leaving from here to the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride in Green Bay this morning.....
Still looking for Donor/Sponsors for this World WIDE "Male Cancer" fund Raising Ride.....

The Green Bay Distinguished Gentleman's Ride has to be Cursed !!!!
Last Year it Rained.....
On the way north out of Plymouth, Wisconsin, Beautiful Morning, Sunny, WARM........
Just as I get to Green Bay, ITS RAINING !!!!
You look any direction, and you see Blue Skies, but here its RAINING, and Cold !!!
I quick pull into a gas station and park under the Canopy.
Made it look like I bought 30 minutes of Gas on the Credit Card. Rains stopped, but it looked like it could start anytime soon again, so I drive the final 4 miles to the Starting Point.
The rain held off, Kickstands Up, and finished the ride.
BUT IT NEVER Warmed up. I don't think it got to 50° !!
Dam Near Froze my Niblets Off !!
But it was a fun ride......
