From this morning's Hemmings News.... Neat idea, but I'm too old to get in the darn thing.

I drove trucks for 30 plus years, I wouldn't set a foot in it.

I got to see this truck way back in my Super Trucking days working for Spector Freightways. It was on a promotion tour at a Local Peterbilt dealership.

Looks like a great way to get ran over by 40,000 pounds of your own load . Ironically I was wounding what ever became of this truck about a month ago .

Dad was a trucker.. said the same thing.
Always worried the load of logs would come in the cab.
Of the under cab, didn’t want to get crushed.

I don't think I could get used to a smart car blocking my view in traffic.

One of the things that keep a driver out of trouble is the visibility, you are looking over the vehicles in front of you and can see problems way before people in cars can see. In this type of death trap you can only see as far as the vehicle in front of you and if shit happens and of course you can't stop as fast as a car, I can see these deathtraps running into everything.
