Had a great time this morning at Sick 66

This morning, Jonathan and I zipped out to Amarillo Dragway to watch Sick the Magazine' s Sick 66.

If you don't know, Sick 66 is a drag n drive event following Route 66. Unlike normal drag and drive events, this one is a point to point and not a loop.

We had a great time and got to see a lot of friends we have made over the years of doing DnD events.

Once upon a time, Bangshift was the center of the world for Drag Week participants. Sadly FB has taken over that role. *Puke*

Anyway it was good to see old friends and meet new people like Steve Atwell and Tom Bailey.

Amarillo dragway is a small track and stuff like this is a huge boost for them. There were a lot of people there for a Tuesday morning!

I should have taken more pictures but I was too busy having a good time talking with people!!

Well , one is better than none ! Glad you had a good time. I was bummed that this year I forgot to get off work for the Indianapolis stop of Drag Week .

Looks like you had a great time! My morning, on the other hand, was pretty busy dealing with the new printer I just received from hewlett packard. I’ve been trying to figure out how everything works, setting it up, and getting it connected properly. It’s amazing how something that seems so simple can take up so much time—between installing the drivers, aligning the printer, and testing it out, I feel like I’ve spent half my day on it already
