  • Mandrel Bent Mild Steel Header Tubes

I have a friend in Omaha building a throwback (nostalgia) 57 Chevy Gasser from scratch. Drop tube front axle, tilt front end, zoomies, old original iron block 392, tunnel ram 2 x 4 bbls, Ford Toploader, etc.

He's trying to find somewhere he can get mild-steel tubing mandrel bent for his fenderwell zoomies. He wants to run 2 1/4" ti 2 1/2" mild steel tubes, not stainless. He has found any number of places who will bend stainless for him, but no luck on mandrel bending mild steel.

    Any ideas or suggestions ?

I don't know why a place that will bend stainless wouldn't bend mild. I think you should call them and ask.

I'm pretty sure these guys could bend up what you need but they are kinda far away from you(or him).

Ask for Rodney, and tell him Rich the Camelot guy sent you.
