I dunno...plenty of race car haulers out at ORP for the Sportsman classes, but the main pit area where the Fuel guys set up shop is MAYBE half-full(I park my semi next door) as of 3:30 PM EDT today.

Could be interesting as to who actually shows up.

I remember him with his 427 Fairlane winning a lot years ago he has a 69 CJ 428 Mustang now? Anyone know Bob Jankins out of Fresno with the 426 Hemi Dart ran in Super Stock I dont see anymore eather

Dang, Spidey... good picks, but I am going to go out on a limb and say Westcott will beat Hess. I am also going to, based on what I saw in Topeka last weekend, pick Nahan in Comp Eliminator. He had that dragster FLYING!

Larry Stewart runs 9.926 on a 9.92 dial to defeat Michael Lund for the Super Stock win. Edmond Richardson, who had never won the U,.S. Nationals in his great career, joined his brother, three-time Indy winner Scotty, as a Big Go winner with an 8.902 decision over breaking-out Franklin DiBartolomeo (8.897) in the Super Comp final. Low qualifier Bobby Martin went wire to wire and won Alcohol Funny Car, defeating Steve Harker in the final. Ken Perry defeats Mike Manners on a holeshot in the Alcohol Dragster final, 5.404 to 5.402. And finally, David Rampy nabs his fourth Indy win by defeating Joey Tanksley in Comp. Wow!

So it's Schumacher in Top Fuel, Force Hood in Funny Car, and Jeg Coughlin in Pro Stock.

Wescott Senior.Jr broke his motor(semi's) and lost.Senior broke his motor in the semi's(on a bye run) and used "Rains" motor for the final I think.:Slight hijack for Ron. Topekan Danielle Jaramillo lost in the fourth round to the eventual runner-up in S/C.She beat Sheldon Gecker in either the first or second round.My son raced Jrs against her.Congrats to Danielle.
