That is the hot rod definition of hybrid... and I think it's cool
I'd do that with the Benz 6.3 liter. Damn fast engine stone stock. Make an intake, put the 6-71 on it and irk everyone at the country club.

I dig the duce...why not experiment a little, try something new...

If the owner digs it, cool.

It's different, at least not another stock SBC with an engine dress-up kit.

Personally, I'd like it better with a blown 392 or a mechanical Hilborn injected Rat...but that's just me.

A Wankel rotary would be more interesting.

Its kinda cool. But if i were to put a japanese engine into a 32, it would be a toyota V8 with a supercharger. Plenty of them out there, and it might actually sound half way decent.

I have 'an old English 'Rod' Mag in which a Guy went 'an built a mid-Engine Toyota MR-2-Powered '32 Roadster. Painted Red of course : ,but nicely done nonetheless. ~J/W.

I guess to me, a '32 ford is like having a harley. Just a cool, loud, awesome looking ride. Most people dont get it, and they arent practical. But if its not LOUD, something is missing. And i doubt this one is loud or sounds mean.

The big wheels and rubber band tires look wierd.

This doesn't bother me as much as the Nissan (?) engine shoe-horned into that Mustang in the Fast and Furious movie, Tokyo Drift. Maybe because I took that as sort of a political or biased statement. This is merely a show car, and secondly, a hot rod. So I don't mind, though I think it would have been cooler with a souped up RX-7 twin turbo rotary. Whatever.
