DF's editor letter in the Nov.09 Hot Rod is about finding the "Cheap Thrills Dart" ,and getting it back. How long will it be before its whereabouts is known. Will it be an eagle eyed BS member that finds it? Happy hunting and good luck to our brothers on the left coast in finding it. I just hope it hasn't gone to the big hose clamp trans mount in the sky.

Re: How long before "Cheap Thrills Dart" finds its way back to Freiburger?
First, they buy it(from Memory Lane Salvage...),then they build it(using up a 340/Auto Duster and a '68 Imperial Crown Coupe...),then they clean it up a tad,and assemble the Parts,'an get the Drivetrain in. Then they flog it,change a few more bits here & there, then, they end up meeting their E.T. goal. Then 'Frie' takes it cross-country,where it's Engine croaks . Eventually,it's repaired, and then David SELLS IT :............and now HE WANTS IT BACK?!?! A Man's GOT to know when not to sell stuff : ;D! ~J/W.

Word has it that some folks actually FOUND the Car,and that IT WAS INTACT and that is WAS FOR SALE! Things went downhill quickly when the seller put the Car up on a Hoist,David quickly eyeballed the Transmission, and noticed that the Guy went and replaced His Hoseclamp 'Mount with 'an actual Rubber Trans Mount :o : :P,this was just too much for David and last reports were "He was simply overwhelmed,He just ran out of the Guy's Garage screaming,I'd never seen anything like it..." said a freind of the seller ;D ;D ;D ;D. Poor guy. ~J/W.
