  • 50 years with his 300 and his beloved wife.

Found this link over at Forward Looks.A man from Portland bought a used 57 Chrysler 300 in 58,and he met his wife some time earlier. They are still together, and they have the Chrysler too 8).

Over 50 years, John and Arlys Chesnutt packed the same car with life: playpens and diaper pails, backpacks for Boy Scout camps, gear for hiking mountains and swimming in rivers.

That is a cool story. Almost like the couple (at least 70 years old I bet) I met on Power Tour - from Washington state driving a red Dodge Magnum. They left the '41 Willys drag car home - but she whipped out a couple Hot Rod mags from the '60s with the car and both them pictured with it also. Spent about an hour talking with them in the parking lot of the Motel 6 in Madison the night before kickoff, saw them in South Bend and Dayton and a couple other spots too, great folks.

Is there still hope for mankind? Can we learn from this?
