Ok im going to be buying a 1/2 imact gun soon. I want a good one, but it looks like 300 is the max i want to spend. Sears has the IR titanium for $290. Matco has the same gun for about 100 bucks more (maybe just a regular price markup). But i can buy it off of matco's site for 300 (student discount). Matco also has the MT1769A for $291 (student price). Should i buy the matco one, or just buy the IR from sears? Or is there a better snap on, cp, or mac gun that i should buy? Again, i cant spend over 300. thanks guys.

IR 231 is a great choice too. Fixing or rebuilding is not a problem with an IR eitherJeremy George in Windsor NY

any IR 1/2" drive impact.
My IR 244 humbled his ass, I don't care what the torque "rating" is,
the 244 hits harder, and RPM's quicker.
