  • The 409 project is a go.......

The Nova went bye bye last night.....hated to sell it but the
coinage is going to a good cause.

Motor is headed to the engine builder Monday.

Maybe soon I'll be having a thread in the project section.
Still trying to nail down a '55 Chevy post car.

Speaking of BS members.......do we have any here that have
        great header building skills?

        I've talked with Stahl, Dougs, Sanderson.......putting headers on a 409 in a
double nickel is going to be a challenge.

Very cool!, How long did you have the Nova?
As I have said before, a 409 55 will be killer. What look are you planning. crazy straight axle gasser, or something similar to what you had when you were younger?

Like your taste ;).Have always liked the 55 models best of the tri fives. And especially the two door post sedans in race trim, and radiused wheel wells.

I like 68-72 Novas too,so i would have had some difficulties with your swap. But we cant keep em all.

Try Visalia, Ca. Craigslist Then type in 1955 Chevy. I could not get the link to happen, but there is one in there that comes with 2 frames. One is already Camaro clipped on the front and springs moved in on the back. The body already has the wheelwells radiused. Post car too.

It is about 1.5 hrs. away from me. Iff you are interested, I could go take a look for you at some point. Take lots of pics.
