"Remy-Z, you've outdone yourself again, I thought a Mirada was the icing on the cake of rodding, but this Imperial is the spread of little 99-cent candy letters spelling out "EAT ME" on top of that cake."
I had an 81 Mirada with factory t-tops. Now i wish I still had it as it was a clean 318 car. All it needed was valve guides and fresh paint as the original paint was starting to bubble.

I know..TSB's video bits are kinda what made me think of the idea.
I just wonder how stable the thing would be at sustained high-speed...the rear of the car could cause some trouble aero-wise, but anything can be overcome with applied thinking, a few tools, some sheetmetal and a bit of luck.
If they can run a '89 Diplomat at SSC and pull 5th in class, an Imperial HAS to be a better choice!
Mopar Muscle's Stealth Bomber Diplomat.

Hehe..remember an article in Hot Rod some years ago on a 70-71Plymouth Sport Fury, and its aerodynamics...the owner said its body scared the air away :D :D..He meant it in a humourous way of course.

He's probably refering to the 'Side-Pipes' used on Kowalski's '71 Plymouth Satalite "Kop-Kar". It appered in a 1971 Issue of Hot-Rod(complete with the Growler Gumball Light on the Roof...) 8) . ~J/W-006.
