Yeah, the shop is the bomb.. I have to say, stopping in down there like I do is a highlight. To see what's progressed since the last time I've been in is awesome.. Sure, it's possible I might just need to get a life, but an even bigger part is being so envious of the skill level Blair & Chuck work at. I am such a window shopper when I'm there, but that's ok, it's all in good fun.

I say it all the time though.. I couldn't imagine waking up every morning excited about going to work and loving every minute of what I do.. THAT, to me, is awesome, and these guys have achieved it.

Ok guys, I've been slacking... I went down there this past Sunday, and took a bunch of pictures... Not a ton since I didn't have my good camera and ran out of space..

But, I have to say, keep your eyes on this thread, because there is a REALLLLLLY cool car coming to the shop in the next 2-3 weeks.. It'll be worth the wait, believe me!!!!!

They painted this car back in 1993, and it still looks AWESOME!! It's about to get a monster drivetrain planted in it's empty engine bay..

Chuck's been busy knocking tin and getting the Vette shaped up!!I love the cage setup in this car, it was designed and made nicely AND USER FRIENDLY. You don't have to be a contortionist to get in and out like you do with my car.







And a lot's been done to the Maroon Vette.. I'm REALLY digging this car!!!









To be continued this weekend.... Chuck's done more work on his chopper, and there's been a lot of progress in the toy shop this week!!!

Well, today's visit was awesome... LOTS going on down that end of the world.. Chuck's been busy working on his chopper, which is really coming out great and turning into a wild ride, and the boys next door at DMC Racing were out tearing up the track out back on their dirtbikes.. What a show.. I've never seen a dirtbike sail over 30' through the air and land perfectly... 15X in a row :o

Anyways, here's a taste of today's visit!!

Project SuperNova is well on it's way..







Uncle Jesse stopped by to have his truck painted, apparently..



The Vette's interior is looking awesome!! What a job!!





Fender skirts are on.. This thing is so cool!





Back to the Vette..











And on to Chuck's chopper... Pictures do it no justice. The (custom) work on this thing is astonishing in person..

He ought to get that mask off his face and checked out, I believe they contained blue asbestos
as a filter.Ironic a device to save your life could be the death of you.

Someone donated an original (40's) gas mask to him for his collection. He was in heaven!!

Hey, thank you for that advice. I talked to Chuck today and told him what you said and he said that he'd let the others know, that had these. A box of these was discovered somewhere and given out for souvenirs . These will be put on display and never "put on" again.

Couple things.
First the variety of things at that shop are fantastic, very very cool.
Secondly, there is something I like about cars on rotisseries that are not mine. :D
