it worked that night, anyway.
Dude yanked me out of that car, frisked me, racked me and man, I was one submissive middle aged dude.
Dude was all like "wtf!? and this better be good!"
I was all like "dude, I'm all coming back from the track, totally hopped up on adrenaline and was just actin a fool."
He told me in 36 years on th beat, he had never had someone be so honest with him. I fifgured the ole medical emergency cliche would just piss him off and get me locked up. I was dancin in real time trying to find a way to go home to my family. The truith and some repect seemed to be the route to explore.
