Is speaking of Engrish of common event in Australia? It is of surprising nature that visitors of Bangshift of foreign nations not of the USA seem good at expression self.

                    Speaking or writing?
But no to both, which is a relief.
We have a large Asian population here, but what you see in the Engrish website hardly exists here.
I think there are too many Aussies who speak good English to proof read for them. Also, many of the Asians have come here as students, so I expect thay are better educated compared to the average back home.

What I once read on that website is that if a product has English written on it, it makes it more desirable from a marketing point of view. So the correctness is not important, just so long as there are Engrish words on it.

Re: Anybody want to buy a book?

My family went on a tour through Europe when I was in high school. I hung out with two plumbers from outside Melbourne. They pronounced it "Mel bin" or some such. The more we drank, the less I could understand what they were saying. Really bad influence on a 17 y/o kid.

That said I once drove Colin Farrell. His Irish accent was so heavy I couldn't understand a word he said to me. I finally asked him to speak in an American accent so I could tell what the hell he was saying. He found it very funny.

That's how we say it.. Melbin, Melbon or Melbun.. Not Melborn.

Kinda like Louisville Kentucky. It's not Louis- ville. It's Looival.

Must the French pronunciation of Louis. "Loo-ey"
..am I right? French? As in King Louis III
