i needed something to drive in the winter because im not driving the monte. this is what i bought. a 1985 chevy scottsdale with a newly rebuilt 350, new 33's and a new inspection sticker for $550 ;D

That generation of chevy trucks is what I cut my teeth on in the 80s, I still have a soft spot for them, in fact I may try to sway my oldest towards those when he gets enough $$$ for a car....

Easy to work on, basic systems, comfortable cabs, pretty reliable......too bad they're rust magnets.
