Magazine Match Race? Crusher Camaro VS Car Craft Camino

Thought this could be cool.......
Saw the twin screw install on Glad's LS1 swapped 65 Camino which he figures should be 500 at the wheels.
The Crusher Camaro is supposed to be 650 at the crank.....

Magazine match race anyone? Although with previous drag trips the Camaro would have a huge advantage over the Camino...... Still could be fun to watch....
If Glad is going to drag test the Camino, it would be interesting if the Crusher just, "showed up"? Besides, we all want Crusher drag numbers anyway.....

I think El Guapo should turn some decent #s, just needs some sorting out. I say DF and DG should do it.....for bragging rights.

that would be a neat match up, the elco may have traction problems.

I'd love to see them race. I realized they are sister mags, but I like the competition between the two. I like the drag week idea too. imagine CC coming in and winning Drag Week.

my money is on the car that makes the entirety of DW - and the crusher camaro, in its current form, is not likely to be as reliable as a LS motor with a blower.

Why not the AMC thing..... ambulance or whatever that blue thing is (the one we've seen painted 6 times on the cover of Car Craft )

That little thing against the crusher.... ( We'll end up seeing who actually knows "how" to use Nitrous )

Now this would be a Truly FUN race.... Cept Glad would put that thing on the Cover again....

I guess I have to retract that statement as Doug has since upgraded the rear diff with a posi and aftermarket axles.
