  • New Farm Tractor Project that fell in my lap

I came home from work today to find the trailer I ask to borrow from my friend Matt, in my driveway but, loaded with this and a note saying "FIX". He got it in a going out of marriage sale and want to flip it for a profit. My part, do all the work to make the profit. Only problem is- I'm in love! And so is my son Cam! Chirstmas is just around the corner, maybe Santa will talk the miss's into letting it stay.

    It's a early 50's Ford 8N, (thats screaming out for a Funk V-8 swap, I mite add ;D)

You mean paint the Stang Red and Gray to match the tractor ;D

I always liked the old Ferguson dark green and gray on a tractor too

8N-9Ns are kinda of clumsly useless tractor in my opinion. They're geared wrong to be of much use.
That being said we've had one on the farm since BK (Before Kyle). So obviously my father and many others would disagree with me.

Keep it - fix it up - teach the boy how to drive it and get a mower for the Ponderosa. Oh yea, and don't forget the zoomies !

I love these things. Been real close a couple of times on pulling
the trigger. Just don't have a real NEED. Lotsa wants though.

The guy that ownes the place where I store a car has two that
                              he has restored. Just cool.

I bought a book on them a couple of years ago. There is a
section on them with V-8s. Seems they had a name for them.
I'll look tonight and see if I can find out.

DO NOT let this Sweetheart leave your property.
