I wouldnt use the term bad ass...the SBC kills it, the modern interior doesnt go with the vibe of the car at all....at best I would give it a cool, or even nifty, or swell....but certainly not bad ass...but then again, there are no giant rust holes in it...so....

You only like it because its an AMC.
Better engine choice would have been an old nailhead instead of the cheap way out.

I vote a 401 and the AMC Torqueflight (I forget their name for it). Keep your Rambler all AMC!

100% Agreed,pet peeve is wrong engine families......it should be Ford with Ford etc and especially AMC with AMC.....ARGH not small block chevy...its almost a sad cliche.

Now dump in a nicely done 360,390 or even better 401ci AMC and you have a winner!
