any one ever use this to replate holley carbs?

i was thinking about getting this to do a few holley carbs i've laying around, and was wondering if anyone had any experience with it.

One of the guys in my Model Club, actually plated a Car Model. He Copper coated the Model first and then plated it. It came out great. I think that is the same way they redo old Plastic parts. I was going to get one of the kits and try it out myself to see what I can and cant plate.
