Do you not always notice when you receive a PM right away ?
There is a setting in your Profile that enables a pop-up window to notify you as soon as you receive a new message.
To enable this function;
1) First, locate the "PROFILE" link in the red toolbar at the top of the BangShift.com forum message board and left click once.
This takes you to your Profile page.
2) In the "Modify Profile" gray box to the left of the screen, locate the "Personal Message Options" link and left click once.
This takes you to the options selection page.
3) Locate the box titled "Show a popup when you receive new messages?" and left click in the little box to the left, so that a green tick mark shows.
4 Locate the "Change profile" box at the bottom of the page and left click once.
It's that easy.

Personal Message Options also have settings for;
- Ignoring selected member's private messages that they send to you.
- Save a copy of each Personal Message in your outbox by default.
- Notify by email every time you receive a personal message (Never, Always, or Only from Buddies).
