    Re: goliath seat

Brian should just drive Goliath down to you, install it, then he can drive back. Shouldn't take more than one or two years. ;D
    Escaped on a technicality.

          It's the Redball....junior edition!

Jim, you rule and I need to find something cool to return in appreciation.

Realize that this is an amazing upgrade. Here's what currently resides in the cab.

Note the moving blanket, also that little hint of green you can see, is a balled up golf shirt that apparently belonged to the previous owner. :D

Re: Goliath Seat Redball! Az to Ma!

had a Timken case, and a 44 front end, with the old ball type covers over the U joints. When I got it the tcase was in pieces in the bed, and the front end had a broken axle shaft. Originally a 292 truck, it had a tired 283 in it, I later "upgraded" to a stock 2bbl 400 and didn't really notice any performance improvement.

I doubt I'm going further than Tucson until Jan 9th, when I am probably going to Phx.

Mark, that sounds like a great "Plan B"

Ok, here's what we've got so far.

                              Me in Ma

Just a few spots to fill in.

I got an e-mail from a guy last night who may be towing his junk out to So Cal the week of Jan 9-17. He said he could swing down to Pheonix, if he makes the trip to So Cal, on his way back. He'd be willing to truck it all the way to Indy if necessary. (Hear that Smoke!) I'd be more than happy to do the "Erie Boogie" again or haul wherever I needed to within 5-700 miles one way.
