Does a car have to be a hot rod in order to be desirable? Not for me...

The standard Hot Rod magazine definition, from issue one, has always been, "any car modified by the owner for improved appearance or performance."

that definition works for me. my 56 olds is just as much a hot rod as my 64 gto or my dads (hondo) 31 A sedan. I dont give a rats a$$ what other people call my rides, if it makes me smile while driving ,its a hot rod to me.
