Re: Eric Bana's "Love The Beast" on NOW!
I WANT an Aussie Falcon bad! Just set the DVR for 10pm show. It sucks that they had to have Dr. Phil on it.
Dr. Pepper would have been a better choice then that &^%^$#@!@$%^& ;D

Scott on this one I think you missed it. I did not take Clarkson's comments as offensive at all. It is more a statement of fact. Tell me that a '64 GTO, '69 Road Runner, '70 Chevelle, was a fantasic all around car and I'd find 500 ways to refute that.

Re: Eric Bana's "Love The Beast" on NOW!
Stock from the factory no muscle car was any good at turning or braking, especially on the shit they called tires back then. But Eric's car was a total make over replacing all the garbage with modern suspension and braking, so any comparison to what came out in the 60's is a waste of breathe. Apple to oranges. I see this every week. My Impala's modified suspension compared to the Caprices original, unrebuilt suspension. The Impala handles great and the Caprice sucks ass even though they are basically the same parts.BS'er formally known as Rebeldryver

Still had all the factory pickup points, leaf springs in the rear, tube shocks (no coil overs...etc). If we're talking "race cars" especially those of the turning variety, his comments still hold water.
It's totally clear to me that he repects what Eric Banna was doing and what he was doing it with. Even I think you'd have to be tapped to run that race in old stuff.
