Canned Heat......one of the reasons I wanted to go to Woodstock
(that and Jimmy Hendrix) although I didn't know it was called Woodstock at the time

here's another one from WS by Canned Heat

Just ripped Canned Heat favorites on cd last weekend

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

I saw Canned Heat in Long Beach CA in 2006 at The Blue Note Cafe bar. They were amazing and they still tear it up after all these years. Surprisingly, there was hardly anyone in the bar that night. It was really cool to see a band like that up close.

Ah man...do I miss the 60's! What a great period despite all of the problems of the time. Yeah, Canned heat was great. What a trip it is when kids today discover 60's music. Turn on, tune in and drop out. Are you experienced?

I was in junior high when that tune was on the radio (AM radio for you kiddies).
Thought it sucked then, and still do.

Canned Heat was a blues band that decided to do something else.

Bob Hite's weird, high vocals were NOT bluesy.
