Bob, Thanks for the link.
Boy, those were the days. It must have been awesome to drive by a new car lot and see cars that had soul, lined up out on the lot.
Now, its just a sea of colored plastic, and argent silver hubcaps.
Our local Ford Dealer has a 2010 Grabber Blue Mustang GT on the point, out in front. Thats the first car that has caught my eye at a dealer in a while.Jeremy George in Windsor NY

Re: Old Ford dealership photos
I don't know how many of you guys were around then but when the new cars hit the show rooms it was the place to go.... The dealers would paper up their windows and turn it into an event..... The 50's and 60's were such a great time.......
Thanks for the link......

Re: Old Ford dealership photos
Bob - very cool slides. I still remember waiting impatiently (just because I was 9 or 10 not because of the car) at Spitler-Demmer on W. Michigan Ave. picking up the Green hardtop 64 and 1/2 with a 260 ci for my mom on the Ford employee A Plan - dad worked at the Triple E bldg. on Rotunda not far from the Rouge Plant. The next year dad got himself a 65 with the 289 and Ralley Pac and fake spinner hubcaps - in retrospect I'd rather have the 58 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser today that we traded in, that puppy was cool.Phil / Omaha
