    Great looking car.

    As much as the edelbrock carbs get bad mouthed for not being as good as holleys - there sure are some cool rides running them!
    There's always something new to learn.

          The color is a factory color believe it or not it's 1948 Ford Monsoon Maroon. As for the carbs they work well and only need to be set once ;D. Car needs some shakedown time on it now to work out some bugs but should be fun, the .030 over 400 Pontiac mill has 6x heads ported and about 10:1 comp, and a Comp Cams hyd roller with .510 lift on it. the ign is MSD and the intake is an Offy unit. The 355 gear and skinny :P tires will get a workout for sure.

            yep holley's "make more horsepower" but your going to have a screw driver on it alot. carter/edelbrock is really forgiving, set it once deal. great throttle responce with the small primarys.
