  • As close as my '65 convert can come to a 'Bonneville-scene'...

... Or, out in the Dutch snow that is... ;)
Had the car out today to drive a wedding so this was a nice opportunity to take some pics in the remaining snow near the garage.

Arild, you and BBM have made me realize how cool a clean Hot Rod looks parked on a virgin white sheet of snow.

I might have to dig the stang out of storeage and take some snow pic's of my own. I never thought of the salt flat theory,
that " as close as my 'car' can come to a Bonneville-scene"

BBM, I love the windmill shot, its so Norman Rockwell meets Carjunkie

                  Wow, who lives there? :P

Fantastic shot and very nice cruiser. You're brave to take it out in the snow.

He, who controls the water lives there.
Well, "lived". These things are monuments now ofcourse.

Here's a better look at the 'waterpump'...

The link with Bonneville is easily made also because when there's snow in Holland, there's also plenty of salt on the Dutch roads to prevent frozen ice-roads. Millions of kilos of salt are being spread on the Dutch highways and major roads during the winter.

X2 , my good brother. I would rather drive on packed snow, than slushy, salty, dirty sand covered shit!
