They made awful music, but had good taste in dogs.

(my family had French bulldogs - a hilarious breed of dog)

as a 70s child I had issues going to sleep at night and my parents found music helped me go to sleep at night, so they wuold turn on the radio at bed time so everynight I had people like donna summer, abba, neil diamond put me to sleep. Ive always been a huge fan of abba ever since then and still am - call me wierd but I listen to all kinds of music, abba, metalica, patsy cline - i pretty much like it all

I can say I like "some" of almost any type of music and I too will listen to anything deemed good in my brain at the time.
From memory here's what's in my truck presently, not neccesarily in any order - Patsy Cline (great beer joint juke box music) Little Feat, SRV, BB King w/Clapton, Pointer Sisters, Frank Sinatra (The Capital Years old stuff), Los Lobos, Allman Bros., Tower of Power, Steve Earle, Dwight Yoakum, Hendrix, J. Geils Band........... sorry, no ABBA, reminds me of AM radio too much.

Its still much better than alot of the crap we get today.

Abba is great, I know a lot of people won't admit to liking them, I remember playing Dancing Queen on the juke box at the camp ground
Rumors of my demise by rollover have been greatly exaggerated.
