In 1911, the Hubbell Pond was created by a dam built on the Huron River to generate electricity. The village was incorporated in 1869.........Waterpower made it possible for Milford to become one of the first communities to have electric lights, in 1892.
    Have always had a hankering for history but as the years go by I'm more interested in industrial history like harnessing water power to make stuff 8)
