Before my Mother-In-Law passed away, She sold her Car to a local Gentleman, Months later He stopped by to show Her the progress that He had made to the Car.

I will never forget the (Look On Her Face) Priceless!

I can only imagine the response being similar to how I think my Grandma would take it. Probably similiar to how my Family has reacted to me 455'ing and 5-Speed'ing my Skylark, since I did get it from dear ol' Grandma when I turned 15 "You did WHAT?!?!? To Grandma's old car??" Mwhaha. Your's though had to be priceless.

The sad thing was, it used to be Black with Black Interior, Garage kept and not a scratch on it, was'nt sure what size V8 it had but it ran like it looked. My Father-In-Law was a Car Junkie to the end. I'm glad he was'nt there to see it. He spent 35 years in the Air Force and would have definately kicked him in the BALLS. LOL

My Grandfather had the same look on his face when I bought a rusted out POS 69 Impala when my 71 worked just fine.

I believe he was saying to my Dad. "I thought you said your kid was smart".
