My Mobil Pegasus arrived via FedEx today and we got it unboxed so that when my son gets home tomorrow, we can get it hung above the fireplace. My wife's friend was here after dinner and when I showed it to her and told her where it was going, she gave us the most appalled look you could imagine. She asked my wife if she was really going to let me put it up there and my wife just shrugged and said yes, and that she thought the car stuff was pretty cool. You could tell this lady was thinking what she would do to her husband if he EVER thought of bringing something like that into the house. So I have to ask, what car stuff do you have in your house? Was your other half pretty understanding, or was it there before she came along?

I have a Pontiac 400 piston on my entertainment center. Lakewood Traction bars sitting on the floor in their box. An MSD 6Al, sitting in the kitchen. Two megasquirts and a few distributor parts in my "office/library". A few different service manuals (including the Skylark's sitting on the couch).
I'm actually really really impressed that's all I could come up with. Everything else has made it to the car!!!Escaped on a technicality.Comment

Nothing! The house is hers and the garage is mine. That's the way I like it. Unless you consider greasy fingerprints in the house "car stuff".Comment

About the only "car stuff" I actually have in the house are these pictures hanging on the wall in my home office, now my garage, THAT' A WHOLE DIFFERENT STORY"!
