Re: Nitrous Explosion
Motor and fuel pump were still runnin'. Took them a full minute to figure out that the battery was still on, providing a lovely compliment of fuel and ignition to that wonderful fire.

Re: Nitrous Explosion
Don't most rules require a "push-off" switch on the rear of the car to shut off the fuel and battery?
If so, why didn't these geniuses run to the back of the car to push the switch and kill the car?Act your age, not your shoe size. - Prince

Re: Nitrous Explosion
Peewee - the rocket fuel on the space shuttle is aluminum oxide, not magnesium.
They didn't want it to burn up on the pad.
And I doubt if there was any mag on this racer.Act your age, not your shoe size. - Prince
