Hey guys, I haven't had much time for the web lately, but I thought you would enjoy a friends project. He bought it as a roller pretty much as seen (except engine). A few weeks later a random guy asked him if he wanted to but a 57 Desoto hemi! some guys have all the luck ;D

The truck is a 47 Dodge on a custom frame (it's a start). I think it is awesome and wanted to share.

That should be a cast iron case TorqueFlite. Interesting - and heavy - choice. Cool if he got the push buttons!

No push buttons, I doubt if this tranny makes it past the mock up stage.

It doesn't even have motor/tranny mounts yet. I'm trying to talk him out of a full rebuild of the engine until we can mount it and do a compression test. He was told that it was rebuilt and never installed. We will see :D
