Apparently a tire came into the crowd of off a fuel dragster, striking a female spectator. The woman was apparently diasbled and was on a scooter type vehicle. I'll leave it at that because I am going off of a couple phone calls I got and am not going to vouch for the accuracy of the information.

That's what I know.

They just reported that. It was Antron Brown's ride that lost it's wheel. The car slid on the guard rail on it's side after getting hit by the loose wheel.

Of course my heart goes out to the family. But also I feel for the race promoters. I know how we feel at Maxton when there's an accident and I know they are feeling the same. And the car owner and crew, too. You know they're driving themselves nuts asking what they could have done differently. It's tough all around.
