            Sorry to hear Bill, at least your not looking at a rear end rebuild or a trany rebuild like I'm doing with my '99 Z28. It's going to be one of the two, I just haven't pulled the diff cover to see which one. It's making a knocking sound that you can feel in the floor board when I lift off the throttle going down the road. And it gets worse when I slide it into neutral while coasting.

                    Well...here's the poop...the Constant Control Relay Module fried, and took out the ECM.

                    This is gonna cost me $500!
                    Still better than putting a used motor in the Lumina.

                      oooph - when it rains it pours
                      the cavalier is starting to idle rough
                      maybe the 200k spark plug wires are starting to go
                      or not changing the oil for 19 months
