    Surgical fun...tomorrow at 8

    Tomorrrow is the big day....basicaly will find out how good or shitty the rest of my life is going to be.
    Have a procedure scheduled for 8am called a thermo annualplasty....basicaly they burn the disk giving
    Me problems killing nerve endings and whatnot.....may work...may not work....I will
    Know in 12 weeks when it is all healed up.....good times...

    Joe that sounds like NO fun... I have had a few chopings on the old back...Good luck and I hope you heal quick!1

                    Hang in there Joe -- Hope you have a speedy recovery. They're getting a lot better with these types of surgery than they used to be. The anesthesia is a lot better (safer with less after effects) than it used to be as well.

                      Joe wish you the best , and your recovery goes smoothly. Back in 2000 I had a perc-d procedure done. that is a procedure that the shrink the discs buy using a spinal wand. its like letting the air out of a balloon. it gets the keeps the disc from hitting the sciatic.

                            Good luck, I had my back done twice two years apart. They did a microdectimy, where they go in and move the nerves aside and trim off the disk that is blown out and crushing the nerve. I have been extremly fortunate that each time I came out of recovery I had no pain at all, I hope you have the same results I did. Just remember to listen to the doc and follow his directions, If I had I only would have needed one surgury.
